WiseEuropa Institute

WiseEuropa Institute is an independent think-tank based in Warsaw, undertaking a strategic reflection on European politics, foreign policy and economy. The institute was created in March 2016 as a result of a merger between demosEUROPA-Centre for European Strategy and WISE Institute. Previously, the two founding institutions specialized in foreign policy analysis and macroeconomic research, respectively.

WiseEuropa employs a unique research toolkit, uniting quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as: statistics and econometrics, macroeconomic and system modelling, as well as sociological, political and institutional analysis. Apart from that, it uses top quality communication tools to engage in the public debate.

WiseEuropa research programs include:
Foreign Policy & International Affairs (EU in Eurasia / EU Reform / EU in the Transatlantic World)
Public Policy & Evaluation
Economics & Economic Policy (Macroeconomics & Modelling / Labour & Social Policy / Education & Health)
Digital Economy & Technology
Energy, Climate & Environment

WiseEuropa intends to stimulate and inspire the public debate on the future of Poland and Europe. We are convinced that within a free society all important public decisions must be preceded by a detailed and comprehensive deliberation. This is why our institute is engaging citizens, entrepreneurs, experts and policymakers from Poland and other countries in a joint reflection on the EU's and Poland‘s modernisation agenda as well as the EU’s and Poland’s role in the world.
