Institute of Studies for Corporate Sustainability (IESC)

The mission of the Instituto de Estudios para la Sustentabilidad Corporativa (IESC) [Centre for Study of Corporate Sustainability] is to assist businesses in their shifting to sustainability, providing business executives, the government, and the civil society with the vision,Education, tools and support needed to lead sustainable development in their organizations. To this end, academic learning and research should become vital and current for future leaders from the business, the government, and the third sector. This means taking a broader picture to ensure that social and environmental issues are completely integrated into the decision-making process. We understand that executive and managementEducation is incomplete if it does not appraise the strategic challenge raised by Sustainability.

The Argentine Global Compact Network participated in the Geneva Global Compact Leaders Summit, through the Instituto de Estudios para la Sustentabilidad Corporativa [Centre for Study of Corporate Sustainability], where the Principles for Responsible ManagementEducation were presented for the first time.
