CERALE (Centre d’Etudes et de Recherche Amérique latine Europe) is a networked research centre with a strong commitment to a bi-continental cooperation predicated on the academic partnerships formed by ESCP Europe with Latin American universities. It is dedicated to the development of applied research to the manifold aspects of management. Its specificity relies on the systematic involvement of mixed (European and Latin American) teams and the adoption of a dual perspective in all of its research activities.

CERALE aims to foster joint research between European and Latin American experts on a broad range of topics: from macroeconomic, political and social issues to management issues. Every issue is explored from a dual European and Latin American perspective. The purpose of such research is to expand understanding of specific realities in the two regions, as well as to highlight the challenges that both regions and firms face in a particularly unstable and unpredictable international environment.
